Fresh from their recent pilgrimage to Austin's SXSW, the newest single from Spanish psych-rockers Baywaves might well be their most impressive offering to date. ‘Still In Bed’ seamlessly explores a wealth of musical genres. Opening up with their signature sun-soaked psychedelia, gyrating wah-laden guitar strums sway their way through the verses as hazy vocals guide the way. Around the 2 minute 30 mark ‘Still In Bed’ takes an unexpected and exciting turn, breaking down to a single Latin-inspired guitar hook and building right back up to a full on disco jam that you could easily rave to. Taken from their forthcoming EP It's Been Like, 'Still In Bed' is proof that Baywaves have seriously upped their game.
